Cherry Creek Old Growth Hike--Saturday July 30

Hike Description:  This 3 mile trail was originally developed by the resident Roosevelt Elk and moves through dense forest and fallen trees with some steep ups and downs.

Come see what the elk and wild life biologist have been enjoying since the mid 1970's and see what an real old growth forest looks like.

We will travel to another hike nearby and take an additional 1/2 mile walk to China Wall ACEC  following our main hike.  Those who still want more hiking can end the day with a short hike to the Doerner Fir.

Bring lunch and water, dress in layers, long sleeves and pants and wear sturdy boots.
